Quite clear instructions. Good pace. Just enough detail. I feel confident I'll be able to make my sloper successfully. Only thing that drove me a touch batty was the "Sraddle" on the "Straddle/Crotch" measurement section. I'm sure you've heard this, undoubtedly, a few hundred times. Maybe you have an "Oops" message flash on the screen that I may have missed. I'm getting really excited about making a great fitting pair of pants. If I'm successful, I'll try it on my sister who has an EXTREME diamond booty and struggles to find pants that fit.

The addition of the online version of the instructional DVD is a fantastic bonus. I no longer have a DVD Drive but I was able to follow along on my iPad as I worked through the instructions. Glenda is a natural on video. She speaks clearly and fluently so it was a pleasure to watch. It is apparent that she is extremely knowledgeable yet her explanations are simple and precise. I find it easier to learn when I can watch the process on video and stop or repeat as needed. I followed along with the written instructions as I watched which gave me a deeper understanding of the process. Although I have just started my Sure-Fit journey I’m already looking forward to my next design kit. Thank you Glenda!

I was initially unsure of how the kit would all come together, however, after watching Glenda take the measurements and use the stylus, EVERYTHING made so much sense. I am so glad I got the combo. I am excited to make my very first pair of pants that fit. The video series is priceless. Everything is explained exceptionally well. As a newbie to sewing, having the video really helps put it into perspective and is so much easier than trying to figure it out with a store bought pattern. She made the crotch measurements make so much sense. This series and the sure-fit designs master patterns are a phenomenal investment for any sew enthusiast.

Glenda The Good Stitch takes learning materials that could be overwhelming and translates them into easy to understand directions. I have been sewing for years without really understanding the underlying foundations of this beautiful craft! I bought the streaming video and watch it as many times as I need to in order to master techniques I would never have even considered doing before I found Sure Fit Designs. Moreover, the knowledge transfers to commercial patterns! All of a sudden, “I get it!” and am no longer “stuck” on more difficult tasks! Thanks so much! I just love Sure Fit Designs!

I ran across SFD while surfing YouTube for sewing terms I was not familiar with and I am so happy I did. After, watching the many videos on the YouTube Channel, I went to the website and ordered the Pant Kit with the necessary essentials. I just ordered the kit, so I have not worked with it yet, but happy I was able to view the How-To DVD before the kit arrives; now I am even more excited awaiting the arrival of my kit. Glenda is an awesome teacher. Everything is explained in detail, so no need for any follow-up questions. I have never run across any class that I have taken in person or online where I did not have questions. I first began sewing in High School, many, many years ago. I am now retired and decided to take up sewing again. Although, I am familiar with some of the sewing terms, I feel like a beginner, so this is perfect for me. I found a local sewing machine dealer in my area, who allowed me to trade in my old machine for an updated machine, so I am ready. Glenda, thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. xoxo

This is blowing my socks off! I think I CAN do this! I don't quite have my dress kit yet but I will try and get my measurements done so I'll be ready. I hope to join in on the patchwork skirt SAL! So exciting for sure. Glenda you are a great presenter! Not too fast and not too slow. Clear directions and I like that you repeated to use a pencil for erasing. I never mind repeated things as I never catch everything the first time. Thanks so much and I am looking forward to getting back into sewing garments! Valerie Bishop

Since I have been sewing for 50 decades I have tried to solve fitting issues for myself and my children. I now have the information I have needed for all of these years. I recognized the "torn back sleeve" trauma cure. The blouse won't button all the way down cure. The bust "gaposis disaster" cure by placing a button at the a bust apex. Finally, after much research, trial and error and successes too few, failures too many I feel armed to create a garment which will truly be comfy to wear.

Here in the UK 'pants' means something that is not good e.g. a 'pants' idea. But the DVD lesson clearly is not 'pants'! It shows me clearly how to draw my very own trouser pattern, that will fit me! Also how to make variations om that basic model. I am very hopeful that I will actually, finally, have trousers that fit every part of my lower body and I can't wait... Thank you Glenda, and also Judith here in the UK.

Glenda you have a fantastic way of explaining everything a beginner or even a moderate sewer needs to know. Thank you for a well detailed explanation and easy step by step instructions. Would highly recommend to everyone. It is definitely worth buying the DVDs.

Very detailed information and the repetitive emphasis regarding the grain line, 5/8” seam allowance marking etc . drove the points home. As you moved from pattern piece to piece I found myself mentally hitting those points . I will definitely watch the video again and also view it along with making my blue prints.

The video's explain everything and doesn't make it confusing, simple but with room to grow and change
